What can an ecological media practice do when it begins by paying attention to the intelligence of local ecosystems?

On 16 October, BlaBlaLab welcomes visual artist Miguel Teodoro for Feral Media, an afternoon workshop that explores the local weedscapes of Eindhoven through botanical fieldwork, media experimentation, and collective attention.

The workshop begins with a walk through the landscape, focusing on the plants inhabiting its marginal ecologies, what ecologists call "weeds", and on what they reveal about disturbance, ecological succession, collaboration, and environmental change. Teodoro invites participants to consider plants not simply as objects of botanical study, but as active agents and indicators within a living system.
