Playgrounds Festival returns to Strijp-S Eindhoven 14–16 April 2027 - three days of animation, film, games & design with talks, workshops, screenings & portfolio reviews.

Playgrounds Fest is a celebration of the creative image across animation, film, games, illustration, design and the ever-changing landscape of digital media.

In 2027, Playgrounds Fest, previously known as The Art Department, returns to Strijp-S Eindhoven with a packed program full of artist talks, workshops, games, demos, screenings, live sketching sessions, portfolio reviews, expos and plenty of opportunities to connect with the industry.

Playgrounds mission is to connect makers, talent, industry and education by creating spaces where communities meet to share knowledge, learn new skills and ignite new dream projects. Online and offline, locally and internationally.
